Father Jim Farrell, director of Our Lady of Fatima Retreat House and pastor of St. Pius X Church in Indianapolis, will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Gabriel Project Pro-Life Dinners in Indianapolis. A Gabriel Project mother also will present her testimony. The dinners will be held at two locations: the Southside Knights of Columbus, 511 E. Thompson Road, on Feb. 9 and the Northside Knights of Columbus Club, 2100 21st St., on Feb. 14. Each evening will begin with social hour at 6 p.m. and the free dinner and program from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Seating is limited and reservations are required. Meals have been funded by program sponsors so all donations from the evenings will benefit the Gabriel Project. A “Nun Run” will be held in the Indianapolis area on Feb. 24-25. Single women ages 18 to 40 are invited to spend time with women religious who are ministering in the Indianapolis area and beyond. At each stop, participants will enjoy the sisters’ cooking as they learn firsthand from each community how its members make a difference. There is no fee for the weekend and transportation is provided. The event will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, and conclude at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25. The event is being sponsored by the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and the religious communities. St. Meinrad artist Kazhia Kolb will exhibit oil paintings, egg tempera paintings and mixed media prints through Feb. 14 in the Saint Meinrad Archabbey Library Gallery in St. Meinrad. The exhibit is free and open to the public. Those wishing to view the exhibit are encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes before closing time. Sister Jody O’Neil, artist in residence for the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, has a solo exhibit on display through July 12 at Corporate Square, 2901 Ohio Boulevard, Terre Haute.
