Pope John Paul II Middle School (Muncie) students recently participated in a science fair. JudeAnne Wilson has been named the new director of development for the Lafayette Catholic School System. She has spent the last nine years working in development at Saint Mary’s College at Notre Dame. Wilson earned her bachelor’s degree in speech communication, with minors in business and public relations, from Saint Mary’s. She received her master’s degree in public administration from Indiana University of South Bend. As director of development for the Lafayette Catholic School System, Wilson will be responsible for the strategic direction, implementation and overall resource development and fund raising for the four Lafayette Catholic schools. She will begin her LCSS duties on March 8.

 



Holy Rosary Parish, 580 Stevens St., Indianapolis, invites all to attend its St. Joseph’s Table, an Italian tradition, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 14. The celebration honoring St. Joseph has been a parish tradition for more than 20 years. The event will feature an Italian meal and activities for the whole family. Tickets are available in advance at a reduced cost of $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 2 to 11; children under age 2 will be admitted free. To order tickets, call 317-632-3174.

 



The first annual Terri Schiavo Life and Hope Concert will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 11, at the Murat Theatre in Indianapolis. The concert will feature country stars Randy Travis and Collin Raye. Ticket price is $75 per person. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation, a non-profit group dedicated to helping persons with disabilities and the incapacitated who are in or potentially facing life-threatening situations.
